A workshop titled 'Collection of information from local service provider's for directory database (Jeeon-Thikana) development' was conducted on April 07, 2008 at Boitpur (Citoly), Bagherhat. The workshop was organised by Samasuddin-Nahar Trust (SNT), Boitpur (Citoly), and facilitated by Multimedia Content & Communication (MCC), D.Net under Abolombon-II project. 15 participants from 5 Pallitathya Kendras (Dharitry, Mongla, Shushilon-Satkhira, SDS-Shariatpur, Yes-Bangladesh, Barisal SNT-Bagherhat district) participated in the workshop. MCC, D.Net is conducting a survey across the country for directory database development. Collected directory information is available online www.jeeon.com/thikana

Md. Mosharrof Hossain, Senior Programme Officer and Golam Sarwar, Assistant Director of D.Net presented the survey methodology, challenges, reporting system, documentation and other technical issues among the participants.
